Resident Course
The Foundation for Physician Advancement (FPA) courses focus on building critical knowledge and leadership skills for young surgeons to advocate for themselves and their patients.
This afternoon resident course will discuss preparing for, and building, a practice as an early career surgeon in a value-based care environment. The more physicians can prepare for this transition as a resident, the better positioned they will be to care for their patients, reduce burnout, and lead clinical decision making in their subspecialty.
The faculty represent various subspecialties, tenures, and practice models. The course will be a mixture of general session panels and small table discussions.
